Abstract

In 1988 I ordered my first Velomobile. Have my expectations been fulfilled?
Questions arising from people who have not yet had any experience with a Velomobile and my answers hereto.
Is the Velomobile simply fun for sports and leisure activities or is it a mean of transportation?

Maschinenbau-Diplomingenieur. War von 1968 bis 2000 Professor für Wärmetechnik und Energiewirtschaft an der Fachhochschule Wiesbaden. Lebt ohne eigenes Auto und nutzt sein Velomobil (Typ Leitra) seit 1989 in Alltag und Urlaub als bevorzugtes Verkehrsmittel.
